I am the product design lead for this product.
Main areas of responsibility:
Elagk system is a complete set of integrated apps for the customer, pharmacy and the courier.
It brings all the pharmacy needs in one place as the customer can search, compare and order medicines, upload prescriptions and have online pharmaceutical support.
Elagk provides you (as a consumer) with a variety of features that facilitate pharmacy shopping experience & medical advise through a well trained community pharmacists team. Elagk Aims to Supply Arab Market with Health Care Services and products that enable Customers to improve their lives and health.
I designed this product from scratch. Starting from understanding the vision and business goals to having a full solution that connect between consumer, pharmacy, and delivery resources.

Designing three connected applications for three different users: The customer, the pharmacist, and the courier, is always a challenge. Each user has different needs, expectations, and goals. So to design these apps successfully, I needed to complete three aspects: user and market research, a systemized customer journey map and nice looking designs & beautiful wireframes for each app.
1- Stakeholder meetings
I gathered the requirements and the product manager, business owners and engineering team.

For the consumer app. List and organize the data and features in the product.
4- User Flow
For new users, registered users, and guests.
We designed different flows to achieve goals as conversion rate for new users, complete the first purchase, and selling the value behind the app.
I did not only focus on designing the different apps to have pleasurable features for each user but also and most significantly, to be efficient.
For the customer:
Customers, for example, need to search health and beauty products, manage their orders within the app, and send a prescription directly to the pharmacist. The customer can view the products alongside with info of the product: specifications, side effects, drug indications and related/ identical products. Also, they can view the delivery status to track the progress of the delivery of a product whether it is accepted/ being prepared/ ready to be picked up/ or on its way. Customers have the ability to schedule a certain order or return a received product as well.
As per the conducted user research, it was obvious that many users prefer local pharmacies as they can order via their prescriptions. I could offer customers an easier and safer solution in the app by adding a revolutionary feature through which they can send a photo of the prescription directly to the pharmacist. The uploaded prescriptions are saved in a separate section for a better organized experience and easier access for customers.
I designed special interactions and designs to suit the browser experience. For example, the search tab is replaced with a search bar on top of the page together with data filter for an easier research experience. Also, it was important to design memorable illustrations to represent the empty states which indicate that there is no data on the screen .
Each pharmacy begins with creating an account and giving access to any number of pharmacists who can use the app. The pharmacy owner can have access to more than one pharmacy if he has several branches. The pharmacy can choose a status to show if it is available and can accept orders or not. The flow for this app is quite different from the one used by customers as it allows the pharmacists to view and accept orders received from customers. The order is first sent to the nearest pharmacy and is shown to a limited time till it responds. The pharmacist who responds checks which items are available. If not all products available, the courier picks the available items from the pharmacy and heads to the second nearest pharmacy who confirmed the availability for the other products. The driver’s id is always shown to the pharmacy. In addition, the pharmacy has a record all of its previous sales.
As for the couriers, they are be able to view and accept delivery requests with the full address details for the pharmacy and the customer (shown after collecting the products from the pharmacy) on the map in their dedicated app. The app is designed in Arabic as it is more suitable for most couriers. Both the driver and the customer has a digital wallet in the app in which they can receive money.

I conducted and delivered the user and market research, benchmarking competitive analysis, important metrics, information architecture, sitemap, data organization, user flow, style guide, final wireframes. All designs are created based on the style guide I created to be concordant to the brand guidelines: including the colors, typography, buttons and their states, input fields, and icons.
Personally I used Elagk as a consumer many times and it helped me a lot to order my medications in specific time with excellent and fast service.
